Cardiff City are in Austria for their pre-season tour

Cardiff City continue their pre-season training camp in Austria with a clash against Russian side FK Amkar Perm on Tuesday.

The Bluebirds ran out 3-2 winners over TSV 1860 Munich in their first match in Austria on Saturday, quickly following the result with a 3-0 victory over Albanian side KS Teuta Durres.

Now they take on the Russian side in Ko"ssen, Austria, close to where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men are based.

It gives the side the chance to make it a confidence boosting three wins on the spin, but who are they up against?

Here's all you need to know about FK Amkar Perm.

1. FK Amkar Perm are based in the city of Perm, Eastern Russia. Founded in 1994, the club has participated in the Russian football league since 1995 and has been a Russian Premier League club since 2004.

2. Amkar's home stadium is the Zvezda Stadium, which was covered in artificial turf in 2005.

3. The club are managed by journeyman Serb Slavoljub Muslin. Remarkably, FK Amkar Perm is his eighteenth club as a manager.

4. After finishing fourth in the Russian league in 2008, Amkar qualified for the Europa League. They were knocked out of the competition by Fulham, who went on to reach the final that year.

5. They also reached the Russian Cup final in 2008 in what was the club's best ever season.

6. Despite playing second fiddle to the likes of Zenit Saint Petersburg and the two Moscow clubs, Amkar will provide Cardiff City with a stern test on Tuesday. Captain and defender Dmitri Belorukov is the heartbeat of their side.

7. Amkar have finished tenth, eleventh and tenth in the Russian Premier League in the last three seasons.

8. The Russian side play their home matches in red and black stripes, a strip that could mean Cardiff City play in their away blue shirts on Tuesday.

9. Amkar once fielded a player aged over 40. Sergei Chebanov turned out in a 0-0 draw with Rubin Kazan aged 40 years and 207 days in November, 1999.

10. Amkar's biggest ever victory was an 8-1 success against Magnitogorsk in 1995.
